On June 24, a special guest will be joining us at our Community Run: Christian Knees.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The former German road cycling champion, a multiple Tour de France and Giro d’Italia participant, and a native of Rheinbach has been involved in social projects for many years.<\/p>\n

The Ledschends combine sports with social activism and raise funds for a good cause. This year, the team is supporting eight-year-old Henry from the Aachen region, who lives with autism. The goal is to help fund his dog\u2019s training as a therapy and service dog so that it<\/span> can provide him<\/span> with more security and support in his daily life. <\/p>\n

Before we start running, you’ll have the chance to receive an exclusive Ledschends T-shirt in exchange for a minimum donation of 10 \u20ac.<\/strong> The proceeds will go directly to the current charity project. As always, we\u2019ll run one lap through Bonn in three pace groups (5:30 min.\/6:00 min.\/6:30 min.) and then meet up again at Laufladen Bonn. <\/p>\n
