Since fall 2023, we have been cooperating with the Mayschoß-Altenahr winegrowers’ cooperative and, among other things, have launched the Läuferwein project together. To hand over the donations already collected and to give the aid project the appropriate stage, we are organizing the first ABSOLUTE RUN Ahrtal Trail in Mayschoß on March 17th! Here you can either run 5 or 10 km or hike 5 km. Register from Thursday, February 15th at 10am and secure one of the limited starting places! I am aware that photos or videos will be taken during the event by the organizer or third parties commissioned by the organizer. Participants can object to the publication of their photos and videos at any time. To do so, simply send a message to info@laufladen-bonn.de stating the event and the participant’s start number. However, it cannot be completely ruled out that the participant in question may also be photographed in other pictures or videos (e.g. because the start number was not recognizable in these pictures). The start of the 5.13 km loop is at the back of the winegrowers’ cooperative in Bungerstraße. From there, the first kilometer is relatively flat and only climbs towards the forest at the end. Kilometers 2 & 3 are really tough – almost all of the elevation gain is made here. The view through the Mayschoßtür at the top on the edge of the vineyards is a reward for the climbing. Almost exactly when you reach kilometer 3, you will be at the top of the Ümerich. Kilometer 4 is steep and mostly downhill in serpentines. The last kilometer is relatively flat except for the end and leads along the valley side through the vineyards. From the top, you also have a beautiful view of our fundraising project, the Juma Stadium. Once at the bottom, runners have the option of either turning off to the finish or starting a second lap. Travel by train is still not possible due to the damage caused by the flood disaster. If you arrive by car, we recommend parking in the parking lot at the train station directly opposite the Winzergenossenschaft. As parking spaces are limited, we ask you to form car pools with friends / acquaintances if possible. When entering the parking lot, please follow the instructions of the staff. This way we will be able to park enough cars there. Alternatively, you can also park in Dernau and take the rail replacement service to Mayschoß (10min bus ride – departure 8:54h from the station in Dernau – runs only hourly).
For the price of 19,95€ you get the full event program with timekeeping, secured and signposted course, refreshments (with wine) and of course a high-quality medal! This package includes a €2 donation to the JUMA stadium.

The large event package (includes the basic package and the bottle of runner’s wine) also includes the functional shirt in a stylish gray tone with the motif of the event. The price here is €49.95.
